Perpignan.

This, according to Salavador Dali, is the Centre of the Universe, the railway station at Perpignan.

Living close by he started all of his journeys here and then returned home via this station as well. While it marked the begging of his journeys it marks the end of ours as Perpignan is the last race of the International season

Perpignan offers a similar sort of view to Barcelona. The mountains get higher to the west while the Rhone Valley looks inviting and enticing just a little to the east.

London
While in the Rhone Valley they will only have to rise to 1,500 ft but this will extend the journey to 750 miles.
